They can dry your hair out and cause your colour/toner to fade quicker. Once a week is the max we recommend, and don’t forget your heat protector!! Rinse before you dive in Always get your hair thoroughly wet before jumping in the pool. Dry hair soaks up chlorine and salt water like a sponge, and we don’t want that! Rinsing your hair with fresh water before and after swimming will minimize damage and discolouration. Or… if you don’t want to get your hair wet at all, use a swim cap. get a haircut Don’t skip your summer trim.
